| I'm thinking of making a short journey to go see PMMM in theaters, however I'd have to drive two hours to go see it and I'll have to go alone. The theater that is playing it requires that I buy the ticket at the theater, so I'd have to go sometime soon to buy the ticket, and then go again on December 15th when it airs.
Pros -I get to watch PMMM in theaters -It will be my first time seeing an anime movie in theaters (squee!)
-have to go see it alone -have to drive two hours to go see it -might have to drive to the theater before the show date so I can buy a ticket before it sells out.
Do events like this normally sell out? The fact that I have to make a four hour round trip in the next few days is a really huge con for me. I'm pretty busy with finals coming up right now so I don't think I have the time to secure a ticket. I'm not really familiar with how popular events like this are, what are the odds I can just drive to the theater on the show date and buy a ticket? |

| 1st of all, if you have school work you should be focusing on, please do the responsible thing and take care of that first and only go if you feel comfortable with any test they would give you. The Madoka movies will probably be available to purchase in the future, so its not like you'd never see it again. 2nd, I had to drive an hour to get to my theater, however i bought my tickets online (are you SURE your theater cant do that?) but I felt like that it was worth it. also my theater sold out extremely quickly, I didn't even have time to ask a friend to go with me. 3rd, how much do you love watching Madoka? because these are basically just watching the TV series amped up. I wrote how I felt about the movies right here so decide for yourself if thats something you want to invest in |

| I agree with BunnyBelle. It depends on how much you loved the TV series. The movies basically just build up on all the good things from the TV version. Seeing Madoka on the big screen was really cool, but if you're really swamped with finals, I would just suggest to wait until DVDS/blu-rays come out. I think that since the first two movies sold so well worldwide, we might get an international release for the 3rd movie, too. So if you feel like you have to miss this opportunity, there may be more opportunities in the future to see PMMM in theaters, and that will be really exciting, since it will be all new material |

| Well the comment about finals is no longer an issue. I just called the theater. They do not allow ticket sales in advance or ticket sales online. I can only buy a ticket for the showing on the day that it is showing and my finals will be long over by then. That means I'd have to drive there super early on the day it shows to get my ticket, which means I'd have to spend the day there wandering around aimlessly until the movie starts at 9:00pm.
So the new dilemma is if I want to spend the entire day in an unfamiliar town by myself just to see the movies. I feel like since tickets can't be purchased in advance there probably won't be that manly people going to see it and I could possibly just arrive there on time and purchase a ticket. |

| Cool, good to know that you won't have to worry about finals by then!
Hmm. I would say that if you want to go, drive there a little early just in case the line does turn out really long (and to figure out issues like parking, etc). I don't know about you, but sometimes I find it pretty fun to explore an unfamiliar town by myself. Check out some restaurant/shop reviews on yelp, and see if there are some must-see places in that town. Or just see if there's any malls/shopping centers nearby that you can hang out at beforehand.
Safety is a big concern, though, especially if you're going to be there pretty late. I think the important thing is to do some research beforehand. Make sure everything's ok and you have places to stay at. |

| All tasks at hand have been cleared - I've taken off work for the 15th so I can make it to the theater and purchase tickets. I'll likely have to spend the whole day there so it's time to look up interesting things to do in Clearwater FL. I'm kind of excited, although I'm still not 100% sure I'll go through with it. We'll see when the day comes. |

| Oooh I wonder if this theater will have exclusives. Also I do not know what you mean by "I still wish I want to go, but I do not another radical Brony episode." |

| Some of the fandoms like the bronydom can be as... Extreme and be full of drama. But then again I can blame some of the horrible security some of these cons have. While at the movie theaters, I know there are going to be tight security just in-case. But still... I'll be weeping on the inside if the huge crowd CHEERS for Mami's death... (Said in a confession weeks ago.) |
